Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the iOS app listed as “High-Value Life Guide” on the App Store (displayed as “Life Guide” on the device). “We” means the developer identified on the App Store product page. The app is designed for offline reading; it does not require an account or provide cloud sync.
1. Information stored on your device
The app stores bookmarks, read status, your most recent reading location, appearance settings, and text-size preferences on your device so those features work. The app does not upload these records to a server we operate.
Search and filtering run on your device. The app does not send your search terms, reading history, or bookmarks to us.
2. Network access, external links, and sharing
- Bundled content is available offline. The app does not operate a service server and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
- If you choose to open a cited source, iOS opens the external website. That website may process the visit under its own privacy policy.
- If you choose to use the system share sheet, the app provides the selected recommendation’s title, summary, and content version to iOS. Information is sent to a recipient only after you select one; the recipient’s service then handles it under its own terms and privacy practices.
3. Information you send to support
If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any information or files you choose to include. We use them only to respond to and handle your request. We delete support messages when they are no longer needed, unless retention is required by law. You can request deletion of personal information in a support email by contacting the same address.
4. Viewing and deleting on-device records
You can clear bookmarks and reading records in the app’s Settings. Deleting the app generally removes records stored in its container on that device. These records are not synced between devices.
5. Children’s privacy and policy changes
The app is not designed as a service specifically for children. If the app’s features or data practices change, we will update this page and its date. We will explain material changes in an appropriate place.
